And then there
are bookstores. In the past few years, the major bookstore
chains have added coffee shops and lounge areas that reflect a
cozy living room. You are welcome to browse and read books right
there in the store, or if you wish, purchase them for later
reading at home.
Satellite and Cable TV in the past few years have released over
150 channels that include learning programs on just about every
conceivable topic.
And of course, there's the Internet. Search engines have become
so high tech that you can instantly navigate your way through
cyberspace and locate extremely specific information on any
topic of your choice.
Make learning a game in your home. Challenge yourself and your
family to discover at least one new thing of value per day.
Share your ideas with each other and discuss your findings.
You'll be amazed as your knowledge and creativity increase and
you'll keep from going hungry when the dinner bell rings.
PS. Thanks Dad.
