Champions Don't Proctrastinate
Words of Wellness Radio Interview
- Angela Brown Oberer &  Ricky Rainbolt (Body Builder and Motivatior)

Radio Show Dust Jacket, Words of Wellness with Angela Brown, & Guest Ricky Rainbolt   More people would be champions of life if they didn't procrastinate. Ricky Rainbolt shares some success secrets we can use today to end procrastination in our own lives.
  • People procrastinate because it is easy.

  • People procrastinate because they think they need a HUGE amount of time to start and complete a project, and they are waiting for a chunk of time before they begin.

  • Many procrastinators are adrenaline junkies. Ironically when you reach a deadline creeping upon you panic kicks in providing the body with adrenaline, which is an endorphin, gives you the temporary energy to finish a demanding task.

  • People procrastinate simply because they are disorganized.

  • Lots of people procrastinate because they get distracted by outside influences, Television, family, coworkers, idle projects, and idle chitchat.

  • People procrastinate because they underestimate the length of time needed for a project and assume they can do the project any old time. And they remember other times when they completed projects in a short period of time.

  • Others procrastinate from self-doubt. They have rigid standards about how things ought to be done – and they fear failure if they don’t meet those standards either real or imagined.

  • Bad Habits. Some people procrastinate so much of the time it has become an ingrained response.

  • People procrastinate because they are too tired. When you don’t have enough energy to complete a project, it is easy to keep putting it off until a time where you physically can take on the added duties required to finish the project.

  • People procrastinate because they forgot to do a task. They assume they have excellent memories and will remember to do a thing, yet as the saying goes, “out of sight, out of mind” and it’s true with procrastinators.
