Melt Your Anxieties in Minutes
with guest, Jennifer Louden

Take time out for yourself regularly
Time out doesn’t mean you have to spend a lot of time; you might only spend twenty minutes a day to go walking and reenergize your mental, physical and spiritual well being. Taking time for yourself regularly will give you the boost you need to keep going.

Pray
Even if you're not spiritually inclined, taking time out to be grateful for the wonderful things in your life creates an environment that welcomes more goodness into your world.

Do something enjoyable each day
It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money; it can be something as simple as getting a foot massage,
soaking in the tub or taking ten minutes to enjoy the sunset.

Create a routine
Taking time out for yourself each day will give you something to look forward to. Having something to look forward to will brighten your spirits even on the worst days.

Eat something pleasurable

Pick a day of the month and treat yourself to a bowl of ice cream or sugary doughnuts or food that’s just fun to eat. Eating it regularly may taste good but you’ll get fat. Once a month keeps your treat a luxury and something to look forward to. Share this delightful time with friends.

Read

One of the most cost-effective ways to “get away from it all” is to find a good book to bury you in.

Read something relaxing, uplifting or inspirational. Junky books can be depressing while motivational books can give you the boost you need to get through the rest of the day.

Ponder
Spend time each day thinking. So many of the solutions in life we seek we already have the answers to,
yet we are too busy to recognize them. Often we don’t value our own information. It is almost as if a solution isn’t credible unless we had to go to great lengths to find it or pay a lot of money for given advice or counsel.
