The Wheel of Life   Your ALT-Text here

The  philosophy is penetrating our western culture. The  symbol itself was designed to represent that life is in constant motion. The yin or even  blends with the yang or uneven energy creating a wheel. You will notice that in the yang, there is a small circle of yin, and in the yin, there is a small circle of yang. That small circle reminds us that even in good times, there is a bit of bad, and in bad times, there is a bit of good. In dark times, there is a bit of light, and in light times, there is a bit of dark. We must have a touch of sadness to appreciate happiness and a touch of happiness in sad times to give us hope.

This applies in business to remind us that all days are not wonderful, nor are all days bad. Just as the wheel of life turns, so does the wheel of business.

If you are on the downside today, the wheel will eventually turn you to the upside. Prepare and plan your activities appropriately so you can get maximum amount of return for your energy and emotion.

Remembering the Tai Chi helps us keep all things in perspective.

Shameless Self Promotion

  • Become a shameless self-promoter. Wherever you go while searching for a job, be sure to let people know about your latest skill developments and how they apply to the job you are trying to find.

Example:
“Hey, how are you?
“I’m terrific, want to know why?
“Yes, why?
“I just took a study course that has improved my communication skills by 93% I’m now ready to talk to take on that sales job your company advertised in the paper the other day.”

  • Remember that people do not know how you can help them until you tell them. Be bold not shy.
